'Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.'

Justin Bieber has had to cancel a bunch of his tour dates telling fans Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is the cause of paralysis on the left side of his face due to a virus attacking nerves in his ear.

Justin said, "I wanted to update you guys as to what's been going on. As you can see from my face, I have this syndrome called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. It is from this virus that attacks the nerve in my ear and my facial nerves and has caused my face to have paralysis. As you can see, this eye is not blinking. I can't smile on this side of my face. This nostril will not move. So there is full paralysis on this side of my face. This is pretty serious, as you can see. I wish it wasn't the case. So for those who are frustrated by my cancelling some of my shows, as you can see I am physically incapable of doing them. I wish this wasn't the case. Hope you understand. I will use this time to rest and get back to being 100%.I love you guys. Peace."

Justin will undergo steroid and antibiotic treatment and some facial therapy for hopefully a 100% recovery.

Wishing you speedy healing, Justin.
