The Matrix Legacy.

The cast of The Matrix Resurrections take a look back at the impact of The Matrix and how it changed their world?

Of course, this is all leading up to the highly, highly anticipated movie - The Matrix Resurrections - the long-awaited fourth film in the groundbreaking franchise that redefined a genre.

The new film reunites original stars Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss in the iconic roles they made famous - Neo and Trinity - although this time, it appears they're back in the Matrix and have no memory of who they are.

We know that Neo sacrificed himself in The Matrix Reloaded, bargaining with the supercomputers to stop the attack on the human city Zion. And we also know that Trinity was fatally wounded aiding Neo to reach his final destination. So is this a rebirth? Or just another loop in The Architect's well-designed coding? The Oracle did say, "he would be back... someday!"

Down the rabbit hole we go.

The film also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (the “Aquaman” franchise) Jessica Henwick (TV’s “Iron Fist”), Jonathan Groff (“Hamilton”), Neil Patrick Harris (“Gone Girl”), Priyanka Chopra Jonas (“Quantico,”), Christina Ricci (“The Lizzie Borden Chronicles”), Telma Hopkins (“Dead to Me”), Eréndira Ibarra (“Sense8”), Toby Onwumere (“Empire”), Max Riemelt (“Sense8”), Brian J. Smith (“Sense8”), and Jada Pinkett Smith (“Gotham”).

The Matrix Resurrections will be in theaters nationwide and on HBO Max on December 22, 2021; it will be available on HBO Max for 31 days from the theatrical release.
