For the second year in a row, Comet Bay College was the top performing secondary school in the Peel region based on ATAR results.

The Secret Harbour school recorded its highest ever median ATAR score of 84.85 and jumped several spots to rank 31 on the state’s Top Performing Schools list.

Eighteen of the College’s graduates earned ATAR scores above 90, which is another record for the school.

Principal Kelly Bennett said the impressive results were a reflection of the College’s commitment to “seeking excellence”.

“Our students proved hard work and dedication pays off, and their focus last year was certainly remarkable given the uncertainty COVID-19 caused at times,” Mrs Bennett said.

“They should be exceptionally proud and I congratulate them all, as well as their teachers and dedicated growth coaches who helped encourage them every step of the way.”
