Drivers killed in horror South West crash

Two drivers have been killed in a horror crash in the South West.

Police say a Kia Rio hatchback was driving south and a Subaru Forrester was driving north on the South Western Highway, near Knights Road in Argyle around 2.35pm on Sunday when they collided.

The driver of the Kia Rio, a 47-year-old woman, and the driver of the Subaru, a 23-year-old woman, died at the scene.

The passenger of the Subaru, a 23-year-old woman, was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of serious but none life-threatening injuries.

Major Crash investigators are conducting an examination of the scene and are appealing for witnesses to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report the information online atwww.crimestopperswa.com.au.
