Two large sharks have been spotted off separate Mandurah beaches.

The Surf Life Saving helicopter sighted the first shark about 250m offshore at Rocks Surf Break near Falcon around 9.45am on Wednesday.

It was believed to be a 3.5 metre tiger shark.

The helicopter then spotted the second shark, a three-metre bronze whaler, about 300m off Wedge Surf Break near Pyramids Beach in Dawesville about 9.50am.

Beachgoers are being advised to be extra cautious when in the water.

The sharks were spotted within minutes of each other. PIC: SharkSmart
