Two motorcyclists have suffered serious injuries in separate crashes in Perth and the South West.

The first happened just after 4am on Wednesday when a car and a motorbike collided at the intersection of Sainsbury Road and Stock Road in Willagee.

He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital by ambulance.

It is not yet known if the driver was injured.

Stock Road remains closed in both directions between South Street and Leach Highway as Major Crash officers investigate.

The second crash, also between a car and a motorbike, happened along Bussel Highway near Tuart Road in Yalyalup about 6.30am.

It's understood the rider has sustained critical injuries.

The Bussell Highway is closed in both directions between Vasse Highway and Sues Road.

The crashes come after it was revealed 19 motorcyclists have died on WA roads already this year.

That is a more than 500 per cent increase from the same time in 2022.
