Bulldogs bite too much for Tigers

South Fremantle will play Subiaco in the 2021 WAFL decider after the Bulldogs defeated Claremont by nine-points.

In an inspired coaching performance by Todd Curley the Tigers were kept to the lowest score in a WAFL preliminary ever just 4.8.32 as the Bulldogs triumphed scoring 6.7.43.

South Fremantle had booted those six goals to three quarter time and Claremont had registered just 0.8.8.

Four answered goals from the Tigers to start the last term had them charging towards an unlikely victory only for the Bulldogs defence to stand strong.

Haiden Schloithe the only multiple goal scorer for the victors while Jye Bolton's two goals 27 disposals almost single handedly stole the show.

Souths will now play Subiaco next Saturday in the 2021 Grand Final at Optus Stadium.
