It took until the last hour of the Trade period but the Dockers and Cats finally agreed to terms to get Jordan Clark back to WA.
Fremantle agreed to part with pick 22 and a future third-round selection.
The Dockers will receive a future fourth-round pick back along with Clark, who will be contracted until the end of 2025.
General Manager of Football Peter Bell believed pick 22 was enough to get the job done but with Clark still holding one-year on his Cats contract that became the sticking point.
“We’re really pleased to bring him in and he’s got some attributes that’ll really suit the way we play,” Bell said on Trade Radio.
“We see him slotting in at half back for us. But he has played some really good footy on the wing... I’ll leave that for the coaches to sort out.”
The Dockers will go to the national draft with picks 6, 8 and 19.
